-
No. I don’t diagnose medical conditions. If something arises during your consultation that requires medical assessment, I’ll encourage you to speak with your GP or an appropriately qualified healthcare professional.
-
Potentially, but this needs to be considered carefully.
You should always tell me about any medication, supplements or other treatments you’re currently using. I will not advise you to stop, reduce or change prescribed medication.
Where there may be a concern about interactions or suitability, you should discuss this with your GP or pharmacist.
-
Your safety comes first.
If something you share suggests that you may benefit from medical assessment or treatment, I’ll recommend that you speak with your GP, pharmacist or another appropriately qualified healthcare professional.
I will never advise you to discontinue prescribed medication or replace necessary medical care with complementary approaches.
-
No. Your consultation is personalised. You won’t automatically receive homeopathy, herbalism, aromatherapy or every available approach.
We’ll discuss what you’re looking for and, where appropriate and within my scope, I may incorporate different complementary approaches into your plan.
-
Absolutely. In fact, I encourage you to maintain appropriate medical care.
The Apothecary is designed to complement, rather than replace, conventional healthcare.
-
If you’re unsure, get in touch before booking. I can help you decide whether the Holistic Consultation, Homeopathy, Cognitive Alignment Coaching or any further offering is the best fit for what you’re looking for.
-
Due to the time reserved for your consultation, appointments are non refundable once booked. If you need to rearrange your appointment, please contact me as soon as possible and I’ll do my best to accommodate an alternative appointment time, subject to availability.
-
Please provide as much notice as possible if you need to cancel or rearrange. Missed appointments or late cancellations may be charged in full. Any exceptions will be considered at my discretion.
-
The Apothecary currently offers consultations exclusively via video or voice call, allowing you to access support from the comfort and privacy of your own home, wherever you are in the UK.
Working remotely also allows our consultation time to remain focused entirely on you and your individual wellbeing, without the practical limitations of a physical clinic.
You can choose either video or voice call, depending on which feels most comfortable for you. There is no expectation to be on camera if you would prefer a voice only consultation.
-
Yes. Your consultation will be treated as confidential, subject to the usual legal and safeguarding requirements.

What is Homeopathy?
Homeopathy is a traditional system of alternative medicine developed in the late eighteenth century. It is based on principles such as 'like cures like' and the use of highly diluted substances. There is no good quality evidence that homeopathy is effective for treating health conditions.
What happens during a Homeopathy consultation?
Your consultation provides an opportunity to explore your interest in homeopathy, discuss its traditional principles and learn about the history and use of homeopathic remedies.
Do I need previous experience with homeopathy?
Not at all. Whether you're completely new to homeopathy or already familiar with it, the consultation is designed to be welcoming and informative.
Are homeopathic remedies safe?
Highly diluted products may contain little or none of the original substance, but not all products are necessarily harmless. Some may contain active ingredients or alcohol, and product quality can vary. Always check ingredients and seek advice from a pharmacist if you have concerns.
Can homeopathy replace my medication or medical treatment?
No. Homeopathy should not replace prescribed medication, medical treatment or advice from your healthcare professional.
-
What is Naturopathy?
Naturopathy is a broad holistic approach to wellbeing that draws on traditional natural health practices, lifestyle education and an interest in supporting general wellbeing.
What happens during a Naturopathy consultation?
We'll explore your lifestyle, general wellbeing interests, daily routines and personal goals. We can discuss areas such as nutrition, rest, movement and traditional natural approaches to wellbeing.
Do I need to have a particular health concern?
No. You may simply want to explore your lifestyle, develop healthier routines or learn more about holistic approaches to everyday wellbeing.
Will I receive a personalised plan?
Yes. Depending on the consultation, you may receive a personalised wellbeing summary with educational information and practical lifestyle ideas.
Can Naturopathy treat medical conditions?
Naturopathy consultations through The Apothecary are educational and wellbeing-focused. They do not provide medical diagnosis or treatment, and should not replace appropriate healthcare.
-
What is Cognitive Alignment Coaching?
Cognitive Alignment Coaching draws on selected cognitive behavioural and NLP-inspired coaching techniques to help you explore thought patterns, beliefs, habits and the way these influence your everyday decisions and goals.
What can I work on during a session?
You might explore limiting beliefs, confidence, self-doubt, personal boundaries, motivation, mindset and the relationship between your thoughts and behaviours.
What happens during a session?
Sessions are conversational and collaborative. We'll explore what you'd like to work towards, identify patterns that may be getting in your way and consider practical strategies to help you move forward.
Do I need to prepare anything?
No formal preparation is necessary. It can be helpful to think about an area of your life where you'd like greater clarity or change.
Is this the same as psychotherapy or counselling?
No. Cognitive Alignment Coaching is a coaching service, not psychotherapy, counselling or mental health treatment. It is not intended to diagnose or treat mental health conditions.
How many sessions will I need?
This depends on your goals. Some people may benefit from a six focused session, while others may prefer more sessions to explore their progress over time.
-
What is crystal healing?
Crystal healing is a complementary spiritual practice that uses crystals and their traditional symbolic and energetic associations as part of personal reflection, intention-setting and relaxation.
What happens during a crystal healing session?
We'll begin by discussing your intentions and what you'd like to explore. The session may include crystal selection, guided relaxation, meditation and exploring the traditional associations of different crystals.
Do I need to know anything about crystals beforehand?
Absolutely not. Whether you're a complete beginner or an experienced crystal enthusiast, sessions are tailored to your interests.
Can I receive crystal healing online?
Yes. Online sessions can explore crystal traditions, personal intentions and guided practices. You don't need to own any crystals to participate.
Will you recommend crystals for me?
Yes. We can explore crystals that align with your personal intentions, and you can also enquire about a bespoke crystal selection to accompany your session.
Can crystals heal physical or emotional conditions?
Crystal healing has no established scientific evidence of treating physical or psychological conditions. It is offered as a spiritual and relaxation-based experience, not a medical treatment.

What is medical astrology?
Medical astrology is a traditional branch of astrology that explores the symbolic associations between planets, zodiac signs, elements and the human body. It is an interpretive astrological practice rather than a medical science.
What information do you need for a reading?
Ideally, your date of birth, exact birth time and place of birth. These details allow a more personalised exploration of your natal chart.
What will my reading cover?
Depending on your chosen service, we may explore:
Your elemental and astrological associations.
Planetary placements and traditional correspondences.
Zodiac signs and their traditional bodily associations.
Planetary relationships with herbs and crystals.
Symbolic themes relating to balance and wellbeing.
Do I need to understand astrology?
Not at all. I'll explain the astrological symbolism in an accessible way, so you don't need any previous knowledge.
Can medical astrology identify health problems?
No. Medical astrology cannot diagnose, predict or identify illnesses or medical conditions. It should never be used to make healthcare decisions or replace professional medical advice.
Will I receive a written report?
Yes, depending on the service selected. Written readings will be personalised and delivered digitally.

What is Aromatherapy?
Aromatherapy is a complementary practice involving the use of essential oils derived from plants. It explores the aromatic properties of plants and how essential oils can be incorporated into personal self-care routines.
What happens during an aromatherapy consultation?
We'll discuss your aromatic preferences, lifestyle and interests before exploring suitable essential oils, their traditional uses and appropriate ways to incorporate them into everyday routines.
Do I need to own essential oils?
No. The consultation can help you understand essential oils and explore which ones may interest you before investing in your own collection.
Can you recommend essential oils for me?
Yes. We can explore oils based on your preferences and intended use, taking into account relevant safety considerations, allergies and individual circumstances.
Are essential oils safe for everyone?
No. Some essential oils can cause irritation, allergic reactions or other adverse effects. Certain oils are unsuitable for particular people or circumstances. Pregnancy, breastfeeding, children, pets, existing health conditions and medication use may require additional precautions.
Can aromatherapy treat medical conditions?
Aromatherapy is offered as a complementary wellbeing practice. It is not a substitute for medical diagnosis or treatment, and no medical outcomes are guaranteed.
Will I receive a personalised guide?
Yes. Your consultation can include a personalised Aromatic Wellness Guide covering the oils discussed, appropriate safety information and ideas for incorporating aromatic practices into your routine.
